The Power of Psalms

Psalms means praise. The book of psalms are religious poems with the purpose to praise the Almighty. It brings protection and positive energy when you recite or sing them.

There are so many things you can do with the book of Psalms. For example, Psalm 1 tells you the secret of success and fruitfulness:

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper…."

The question that might arise is if the Psalms are relevant today. I will answer, yes of course, it is relevant in that unhappiness comes from doing the contrary to good. It is apparent that people who walk with the ungodly, unrighteous (the people who do wrong), people who do scornful things (etc. showing contempt to or looking down on someone) will easily resort to troubles and quarrels which will lead to exchanges of bad words and unhappiness.

Psalms have various purposes for repentance, forgiveness, love, praise, protection and all aspects of life. The key to Psalms is that it is understood by angels and God has respect for those who sincerely and earnestly pray it.
