Repentance
Repentance is the act of being sorry for doing something wrong. True repentance means in addition to being sorry, the desire to not repeat that wrong or sin. True repentance is what is desirable by God because he sees the heart of everyone.

Our sins break the gap between God and man. Sin makes us to have a bad relationship, just like a loving father is upset when a child does wrong and is not sorry about it. The good news is God is always willing to forgive those who truly or sincerely repent for their sins. God tells us through the prophet Isaiah that no matter how our sins are, if we are truly sorry for it, He will forgive us.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. – Isaiah 1:18
